So where are the best places to visit for a romantic holiday in France?

Paris is usually the first thing .... in the sense, of course, the Eiffel Tower has paved the way for many marriage proposals!

But maybe you've been there done ... and want to try something new?

If you are planning a special occasion like a honeymoon or, or want to set off, relax and spend time in France is hard to beat.

Brantome, Perigord

Brantome, known as the Venice of the Perigord, is a fascinating book-picturesque stone village in the south-western France. Spend some time admiring the beautiful old palaces, gardens and local parks, or simply sitting in a bar and the world go.

Brantome has some excellent restaurants, including Michelin-star Moulin d'Abbaye. Farmers' markets, cafes, bars and art galleries fill easilyof time.

If you want to get out and about and some attractions, the area offers numerous historic castles, prehistoric cave paintings, castles and vineyards.

Provence

One of the best ways to spend a romantic vacation here is the area by car, bike or explore on foot, heading off the beaten track and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

Riviera
